Project Introduction:
Nanjing Huntsman Corporation New Materials Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Huntsman Corporation Group and Sinopec Jinling Branch, is building and operating a world scale propylene oxide (PO) and Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) plant in Nanjing, with a total investment of about 750 million US dollars.
Epoxy propane is an intermediate complex used to manufacture high-value polyurethane materials. Polyurethane materials are widely used, ranging from energy-saving household insulation and building materials to comfort foam used in the automotive industry and furniture industry; Methyl tert-butyl ether is a clean fuel additive used to improve the performance of Petrol engine and reduce air pollution.
